Tomas said, “After speaking to Matt (Head Coach) I am really enthusiastic to get started with the club and help grow the game in Bath”.

Matt Bodey (Bath Rugby League – Head Coach) said, about the appointment, “having had the chance to chat to Miquel, I’m really excited to have him on board as an assistant coach moving forwards. I’m looking forward to helping him develop as a coach, and see how he can develop my knowledge and ability as well, with his interests in Strength & Conditioning, nutrition, and his experience of Rugby League in Europe”.

The club are also really pleased to have retained the services of Matt Bodey as Head Coach ahead of the 2021 season. This is a really exciting time for Rugby League in Bath. All the players speak really highly of Bodey and his abilities to improve their Rugby skills, and I believe Miquel will complement his coaching style. It is fantastic to have two young enthusiastic coaches who have the passion to grow the sport in the Bath and surrounding area.”
